Entrance Doors & Ventilation Windows for Custom Glass Houses

RAXDOME entrance doors and ventilation windows are designed for glass domes, pyramid glass houses, capsule glass houses, honeycomb structures, glass igloos and other customized glass buildings.

Five accessory types are available:

Each door and window is manufactured according to the corresponding glass-house structure and confirmed project drawings. Dimensions, frame shape, glass specifications and opening methods may vary between different models.

Single Glass Entrance Door

The Single Glass Entrance Door uses a hinged single-leaf design. It is suitable for glamping hotel rooms, private guest units, cafés and other glass houses that require a compact entrance.

Available customization options include:

• Door width and height
• Left-hand or right-hand opening
• Inward or outward opening
• Frame color
• Glass specification
• Door handle and locking system

Double Glass Entrance Door

The Double Glass Entrance Door provides a wider entrance and is suitable for restaurants, reception halls, event venues and larger commercial glass houses.

The wider opening makes it easier to move furniture, equipment and other large items into the building.

The overall dimensions, opening direction, active door leaf, frame color, glass and locking system can be customized according to the project.

Wooden Entrance Door

The Wooden Entrance Door provides greater privacy and a warmer architectural appearance.

It is particularly suitable for glamping accommodation, resort rooms and glass houses that combine transparent glass with insulated or covered exterior panels.

Door size, wood finish, opening direction, handle, lock and surrounding frame can be customized.

Reinforced Door Frame

RAXDOME adds a dedicated reinforced perimeter frame around the complete door opening.

The door is not simply connected directly to the surrounding geometric glass panels. The additional frame supports the weight of the door and strengthens the connection between the entrance and the main glass-house structure.

The reinforced door frame helps:

• Increase entrance rigidity
• Support the weight of the door
• Improve door alignment
• Reduce deformation during frequent operation
• Improve sealing around the entrance
• Create a stronger connection with the main frame
• Make installation and future adjustment easier

The dimensions and material thickness of the reinforced frame are determined according to the door size, weight and structural design of the glass house.

Door Opening Directions

Four door-opening directions are available.

All directions are defined while standing outside the glass house and facing the entrance door:

• Left-Hand Inward Opening: Hinges on the left; push inward
• Right-Hand Inward Opening: Hinges on the right; push inward
• Left-Hand Outward Opening: Hinges on the left; pull outward
• Right-Hand Outward Opening: Hinges on the right; pull outward

The required opening direction must be confirmed before production according to the entrance position, interior layout and available space around the building.

Reference Door Dimensions

RAXDOME entrance doors are manufactured to match different glass-house models. The following dimensions are reference values based on previously manufactured projects:

The Manual Ventilation Window is opened and closed by hand using mechanical opening hardware.

It provides a simple ventilation solution without requiring an electrical power supply and is suitable for accessible installation positions.

The manual window can be customized in different shapes:

• Triangular
• Hexagonal
• Quadrilateral

Electric Ventilation Window

The Electric Ventilation Window uses a motorized actuator to open and close the window.

It is particularly suitable for roof areas, high installation positions and hospitality projects that require convenient ventilation control.

The window shape, motor, opening distance and control method are confirmed according to the structure and project requirements.

Electric windows are also available in:

• Triangular
• Hexagonal
• Quadrilateral

Window Compatibility

The correct window shape depends on the panel structure of the glass house:

• Triangular windows: Suitable for geodesic glass domes, pyramid glass houses and triangular capsule structures
• Hexagonal windows: Suitable for honeycomb glass domes and honeycomb capsule structures
• Quadrilateral windows: Suitable for glass igloos, large-panel glass houses and other four-sided frame structures

The window structure does not need to be selected as a separate Shopify variant. RAXDOME will confirm the correct shape according to the customer’s glass-house model and installation position.

Individual Wooden Crate Packaging

Every entrance door and ventilation window is packed separately in an individual wooden crate.

The wooden crate helps protect:

• Glass surfaces and edges
• Reinforced door and window frames
• Handles and locks
• Hinges and opening hardware
• Electric motors and control components

The dimensions and weight of each wooden crate depend on the finished accessory. Shipping and installation costs are not included unless specifically stated.
