A glass dome house is a modern dome architectural structure featuring a durable aluminum frame and tempered glass panels or outdoor wooden panels, designed for glamping resorts, hotels, restaurants, wellness retreats, and commercial attractions.
Q2. What is the difference between a glass dome and a geodesic dome?
A glass dome uses tempered glass panels or wooden panels to provide panoramic views and a premium appearance, while a geodesic dome typically uses PVC fabric covers and is more suitable for temporary or seasonal applications. Of course, the glass dome is more durable, luxury and long-term use than fabric dome tent.

RAX DOME offers standard and customized sizes ranging from 3m to over 30m in diameter, depending on project requirements.

Yes. We provide customized sizes, colors, glass specifications, doors, windows, interior layouts, and additional features based on project requirements.
Q5. Can I customize the glass color?
Yes. Clear, green, blue, gold tea, black, and other color glass, blue reflective glass, Low-E insulated glass, and other custom options are available.
Q6. Can the dome include a bathroom and kitchen?
Yes. Our domes can be configured as complete accommodation units with bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, and we provide a customized bathroom for the dome that’s designed and manufactured by ourselves.

Q7. Can the dome withstand strong winds?
Yes. Depending on the design and size, our structures can withstand wind speeds up to 100–120 km/h.
Q8. Can the dome handle snow loads?
Yes. The structure can be engineered to meet local snow load requirements for cold climate regions. So when the glass dome uses in North Europe or Canada or the area which has big snow, that’s suitable and strong enough.
Q9. Is the glass tempered and safe?
Yes. All glass panels are made from high-quality tempered safety glass and can be supplied as insulated double-glazed units.

Yes. The structure is designed with professional sealing systems to provide excellent waterproof performance.
