This product video introduces the RAXDOME 6m Wooden Glass Dome, a full-scale sample displayed at our factory. The same wood-finish dome design has also been supplied to Clear Sky Resorts in the United States, where customized RAXDOME structures are used in a luxury glamping environment.
Combining warm wood-color panels with a panoramic glass viewing area, this model creates a more natural architectural appearance than a fully glazed dome. It is especially suitable for glamping resorts, boutique hotels, stargazing accommodation and other outdoor hospitality projects.
Dual-Layer Insulated Panel System
The dome uses 18mm wood-finish panels on both the exterior and interior sides, creating a combined 36mm dual-layer panel system.
Compared with a fully glazed enclosure, the covered sections help reduce direct solar heat and heat transfer while improving privacy and interior thermal comfort. The panoramic glass section still gives guests an open view of the surrounding landscape and night sky.
The final insulation performance of each project also depends on the complete wall system, glass specification, sealing, local climate and selected heating or cooling equipment.
Strong Aluminum Alloy Structure
The dome is supported by a triangular geodesic frame manufactured from 6063-T5 aluminum alloy. This material combines structural strength with resistance to corrosion and deformation, making it suitable for long-term outdoor use.
Frame specifications, connections, glass configurations and foundation requirements can be engineered according to the project location, intended use and applicable wind-load and snow-load requirements.

The 6m Wood-Finish Glass Dome provides enough interior space for a comfortable guest room with a bed, seating area, storage and optional bathroom layout.
